The electric prod is a weapon that was to be implemented in ObsCure II.

Nothing is known about the potential of the electric prod, nor the reasons for which it was removed from the game. Presumably it was a battery fueled weapon, whose effectiveness depended on the likely charge, and it would have been possible to continue to use it even when the battery was depleted inflicting, however, less damage.
It can be assumed that its effects on enemies were similar to those of the Stun Gun.
